Learn how to shade it 3-dimensionally for depth and overlap

This is what people did with this lesson!

You won't believe that you could draw intricate pieces such as these!

This was my first attempt of one of these classes. I began by watching the entire class to just observe the techniques. I then began to start at the beginning and see what happened. I did experience a bit of feeling that I did not know what I was doing, but as I continued I realized that just as Eni said, it began to come together. I plan to do another one tomorrow to see if I can improve my skills. I need to be more deliberate with the pen and work more slowly as I am still essentially a beginner and have no previous drawing skill. I really enjoyed the class. Thank you.

My biggest take away from this lesson is to trust the process and to keep going no matter how ugly I thought it was at first! In the end, I so enjoyed the detailing and the weaving ribbons. I plan to stress this with my students this this week, to not be overly critical of what they are drawing but to trust the Zentangle process and keep going! Thank you Eni for a relaxing fun class! And, I am getting more bolder with my shading too!
