Topics covered:

• Understand Morphing: it is a slow, gradual transformation

The word "morph" is short for metamorph, that is, a gradual transformation from one stage to another. Although other artists have different names for morphs, in my opinion a true morph shows all the stages of transformation visibly.

• Learn a SOLID METHOD to approach this advanced topic

Some people can create morphs intuitively, without thinking too hard about how to transform one tangle to the next. What about the rest of us? This lesson shows not only several practical examples you can start using right away, but also provides a SOLID METHODOLOGY on how to tackle a successful morph, so that you start thinking on how to decipher these advanced transformations with your favorite tangles.

• Learn how to select great tangles for morphs, how to practice and test

In this lesson, you'll learn how to select pairs of tangles that are better suited for morphs. Additionally, you'll learn how to test morphs to see if they will work before applying them to your art. Testing and practicing morphs is a fun activity in itself!

• Tricks and tools that can help you to morph two entirely different tangles

It's not just about selecting the right pair of tangles to morph! What if you have two entirely different tangles and need an extra challenge? Learn different tactics to help you create unbelievably surprising morphs between tangles that are completely different.

• How to understand the basic repeating unit and use it to your advantage when morphing

It's all about "tangle envy". Learn to identify the basic repeating unit (also known as "fragment" in Zentangle world) and to find out what it needs to convert to a different tangle. You'll create your own stunning and surprising morphs!

• Learn to morph organic filler patterns, grids, ribbons and more

This lesson bundle is made of TWO hour-long videos - combining two lessons in one. In the first part, you'll learn the concept of morphing applied to organic filler patterns and grids. In the second part, you'll tackle exercises with ribbons (path), edge/weed patterns and even radial designs!

• Adapt your morphs to easy compositions to create stunning pictures

You'll also learn how to apply and display your successful morphs to an easy to understand composition that can produce stunning results every time.

• And so many tips and tricks!

Every lesson is packed with tips that can help you with ALL of your projects and make you a better artist.

WHY THIS LESSON IS IMPORTANT!

A fun and surprising mental exercise

MORPH is a gradual and smooth transition between two different tangles. Although sometimes called a blend, a true morph does not simply jump from one tangle to the next. You can actually see the transformation of the tangle slowly becoming another pattern! In this example, you can see how Sandswirl slowly transforms itself into Emingle.

Morphs are fun mental exercises that require some thinking, stimulating your mind to come up with creative solutions, helping your mind to stay sharp and alert. The results are always invariably surprising and delightful!
